Yes, good times could be had with this non-sport card hoard, especially if you’re a fan of John Travolta and Robin Williams. We’ll get to them after leading off chronologically with a 1967 Topps Mysteries of India set of 55 in appealing crease-free condition and easily averaging EX-MT – nice. Laughs galore are offered in a complete 55-card Good Times set from 1975, with 17 of 21 stickers present, along with 41 extra cards, three extra stickers and two unopened wax packs. Travolta and Olivia Newton-John star in 1977 Grease cards, represented by complete Series 1 and 2 sets (132 total cards and 22 stickers), a near Series 1 set (65/66) plus nine stickers (although there are a dozen OPC “substitutes” among the cards), a near Series 2 set (51/66) plus nine stickers and O-Pee-Chee cards again mixed in with other (54/66) Series 1 cards. There are also two unopened wax packs from each series. Travolta is also featured in a complete 1976 Topps Welcome Back Kotter 53-card set, with one unopened Kotter pack also in the mix. And then it’s Travolta again, this time in a 66-card Saturday Night Fever set from ’77, another pile (55/66) and three unopened packs. Now to Williams, with Robin involved with Pam Dawber in a complete 99-card, 22-sticker set put out by Topps in 1978, a similar O-Pee-Chee version and then four dozen extra OPCs and two unopened OPC packs (with wear, holes). Jaws II entries include a 1978 Topps set of 59 plus 10/11 stickers, 60 extras (with duplicates) and eight extra stickers, to go along with three unopened packs. There is some E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial action, in the form of an 87-card ’82 OPC set, 46 extras and three OPC wax packs, while 1988 OPC Fright Flicks cards (67 of 101) are a start to a scary set. Originally overlooked but not forgotten is a set of intact, unfolded 1976 Topps Mad Ad Foldees, with toning to card #1 but then just light intermittent edge toning among the rest. There are also six ’78 Topps Three’s Company unopened packs, one unopened pack featuring an Andy Gibb poster and little stacks of cards (less than 10 each) of miscellaneous throw-ins; Disneyland, The Flying Nun, Happy Days stickers, Fabian, Krazy Kreatures From Outer Space and a few others, with 1979 North American Soccer League stickers somehow also finding their way into the monster box, sure to keep you busy, busy, with overall, very little handling/wear observed. It should be noted though that some of the sets/duplicate lots had been stored with rubber bands around them, resulting in indentations in some of the first and last couple/few cards.
