Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/26/2021
A veteran of 19 NHL seasons, Adam Oates is considered one of the game’s all-time greatest playmakers, with his 1,079 career points placing him seventh all-time. We have a signed stick used by the 2012 HOF inductee during his time with the Boston Bruins in the mid-1990s. A Sher-Wood PMP 9950 model with “Oates” and “12” stamped and “2” handwritten, “Boston” is also visible, partially covered by the striping accent, with the original black tape on the blade and handle. A partially-torn sticker has been added to the upper shaft with “Adam Oates game used stick” typed, with the lumber showing great use with wear to the underside of the blade and a few tears to the tape, with marks and surface abrasions to the shaft along with a small area of blue paint transfer. Oates has signed across the front side blade in silver, with the signature displaying well.
