Spending 11 seasons in the NHL along with additional time at both at the start and conclusion of his career in his native Russia, Dmitri Yushkevich was drafted by Philadelphia and appeared for four different NHL clubs. From his time in Ontario, we have a signed Toronto Maple Leafs jersey worn by the Cherepovets native in 1997-98, his third season with the club, along with signed gloves worn in 2000-01. First, the jersey has Nike and Center Ice labeling with "56" sizing, with embroidered NHL and Starter crests over the reverse hem. Styled with the classic Leafs team crest, "36" is sewn to the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with alternate crests over each shoulder. Heavy game-use is exhibited with marks, burns, scrapes and pilling to the material throughout, along with numerous team repairs over each lower sleeve. Dmitri has signed between the reverse numbers in black marker, with the signature displaying well. The gloves are Eagle models in Leafs colours, with "Yushkevich" embroidered to each wrist guard. The gloves show heavy wear, especially to each darkened palm, with small holes over each. Each glove has been signed in silver, with the signatures quite worn/faded, including the example on the right glove, with the portion across the bottom almost gone. An LOA from the Leafs will accompany for the jersey.
