Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/26/2021
The Toronto Maple Leafs all-time goals and points leader, Mats Sundin was the first Swedish player to top 500 goals, with numerous gold medals won while representing his nation internationally. This pair of gloves was worn by the superstar during the 2000-01 NHL season, where he netted an impressive 74 points in 82 games. CCM models in Leafs blue and white, "Sundin" is screened to each wrist guard extension. The pair exhibit light to moderate game-use, with wear visible to each palm and a bit of dust/dirt staining to the exteriors, with no tears or damage. An LOA will accompany from the Maple Leafs.
Addendum; The gloves were obtained directly by our consignor at the Maple Leafs equipment sale back in the day. We are unsure if these gloves were used in an actual game, a pre-season game or just tried-out by Sundin in practices but they were used by him during the season as stated in the LOA.
