Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/26/2021
Featuring the most collected rubber in the hobby, elegantly displayed mounted to a finished blond beveled-edge wooden plaque, we offer a collection of seven Original Six Art Ross NHL game pucks, constituting a complete set. At approx 9" x 35" with "1960" and "1966" in blue decals over the upper left and right respectively, the seven pucks include one for each club, along with a centered example showing the NHL/Art Ross reverse. Produced during the 1958 to 1968 time period, we are unable to determine which years the pucks originate from as each is glued to the display without the reverses visible, with the centered puck originating from 1962-64. The rubberized team logos all show just light wear, with the group in overall high-grade.
As mentioned, the team logos all display beautifully, with just light wear to the pucks, with a bit more wear to the centered puck's logo that shows the Art Ross reverse. The plaque itself shows handling with a few scratches, with a small piece of the "6" decal of "1960" missing.
