Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021

Enjoying a lengthy hockey career that begun with a single game with the Winnipeg Jets in 1983-84, and ended with time in the LNAH with Sorel-Tracy in 2005-06, Bobby Dollas skated with nine different NHL clubs, and we offer Pittsburgh Penguins jersey worn by the Montreal native during his first season with the club in 1998-99 including the playoffs – according to the accompanying team LOA (a COR from MeiGray will also be included). Center Ice labeling with handwritten “8” along with a “58-R” size swatch sit affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and Starter crests on the reverse bottom hem. Styled with an attractive and textured Pens team crest, the solid white V-neck has been accented with dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Dollas” sewn to the nameplate in matching material. Exhibiting a few puck and stick marks to the sleeves, there are also scrapes and burns to the elbow sections, with a few resulting holes along with a team repair on/near the right elbow. Getty Image #492563 (May 10, 1999 Round Two of Playoffs) shows the mark on the upper right of the team crest, with the threading within the black section of the lower front right seam appearing to match, but the image is not clear enough to be called a definitive photo-match.
