Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/26/2021
A 1987-88 O-Pee-Chee 264-card set with several notable rookie cards leads this batch of binders, with sharp cardboard at times affected by toning along the upper borders/regions front and/or back because of the storage method in ancient 9-pocket pages. You’ll get a look in our images, with a corner ding dropping the Luc Robitaille RC but with a NM Adam Oates RC to report. An ’87-88 Topps All-Star Sticker insert set (Wayne, Mario) is at the back of the binder, while the Brett Hull and Brendan Shanahan rookies pulled from an ’88-89 assembly are NM+ and EX-MT respectively, with subtle toning observed along the top of Gretzky and Lemieux cards, as well as some others. Rookie cards of Joe Sakic (’89-90 OPC) and Jaromir Jagr, Sergei Fedorov, Jeremy Roenick, Mike Modano, Mats Sundin and others (’90-91 OPC Premier) highlight the rest of the sets/binders, with the remaining contributors listed below.
1990-91 O-Pee-Chee hockey set
1991-92 O-Pee-Chee hockey set
1991-92 O-Pee-Chee Premier hockey set
1992-93 O-Pee-Chee hockey set
1992-93 O-Pee-Chee Premier Star Performers hockey insert set (22 cards)
1990-91 Upper Deck hockey set (1-550)
1991-92 Upper Deck hockey set (1-500)
**Please note that the toning across the tops of cards affects those stored in the upper three pockets of pretty much each page in every binder.
