Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/26/2021
The winning bidder of this set of ever-popular 1967-68 Topps cards can anticipate receiving a respectable ensemble that features mostly G, G+, VG and VG+ examples - we'd say the average is a notch below VG at G+, with half a dozen low grade fillers to note. The key second-year Bobby Orr (#92) card is well-centered, is without an often seen factory-produced vertical wrinkle and is G, with a subtle dime-size blemish on the back (color loss but no paper loss) to be aware of. A little lesser (F) are Bobby's 118-Calder Trophy and 128-All-Star cards. An attractive VG-EX+ Rogie Vachon leads the key rookies condition-wise, with Derek Sanderson (VG) and Jacques Lemaire (F-G) also notable. Superstars Howe (G), Hull (F-G) and Esposito (F-G) contribute, while the two marked checklists include one (66-1st Series) that displays superior to the other (120-2nd Series) multi-creased one. The last colorful set before expansion team players made their appearance awaits your bid.
