Canada’s KSA grading firm is responsible for the inspecting and encapsulating here, with several possibilities offered by the following assessments of O-Pee-Chee rookie cards: Mike Bossy’s 1979-80 RC leads chronologically and is slabbed 6.5 ENM+, with a 7.5 NM+ Ray Bourque (’80-81) rookie contributing. A trio of Steve Yzerman RCs includes 8.5 NMM+, 8 NMM and 7.5 NM+ examples, while also from ’84-85 are two Cam Neely rookies, both of them graded 8 NMM. Completing the encapsulated segment is an ’85-86 Al MacInnis RC at 8.5 NMM+. The raw rookies can be considered throw-ins, given their condition. Denis Potvin and Lanny McDonald RCs from ’74-75 are multi-creased and fair, while light wrinkles/creases are subtle but are there on an ’81-82 Paul Coffey entry. A corner touch or light edge wear render ’89-90 rookies of Joe Sakic (2) and Brian Leetch less than high grade. Other than a small scratch up in the KSA logo of the Bossy RC holder, all holders are without scratches or other condition issues.
