Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/26/2021
Lots of World Hockey Association action for you to contemplate here, led chronologically by three complete 66-card sets from 1974-75. We cannot inform of high grade assemblies, with intermittent corner wear and creases observed; you can anticipate mostly VG to EX cards, with three respectable #1-The Howes cards, along with a (fourth) extra, all with corner dings but no unsightly flaws and VG-EX. Three checklists are creased, with two of them partially marked. There are two complete sets, again 66-card issues, from ’77-78 and typically, they feature a vast majority of NM-or-better entries, with unmarked checklists. The more challenging ’75-76 issue is represented by a lot of 112, with duplicates involved and 99 different but no Mark Howe rookie or Gordies or Hulls or Plante and a creased and partially marked checklist. Completing is a near set of ’73-74 posters (21/22), with condition admittedly not wonderful; toning to parts of some of the borders, a few with gum stains on the back and one with tape stains on the reverse is all to be aware of, with #14-The Howes required for completion.
