Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2021

Dressing for both Peterborough and Windsor in the OHL followed by a season in the AHL, Zack Kassian was selected 13th overall by Buffalo in 2009 and spent a single season with the club in 2011-12, seeing action in 27 regular-season contests. From his rookie campaign, we have a photo-matched Sabres jersey worn by Kassian in 2011-12. A label with “56” sizing is affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Featuring the classic Sabres team crest with embroidered detailing, “”54” is sewn to the chest, sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with “Kassian” across the affixed nameplate in navy twill. Sporting light to moderate game-use with a few dark marks over the front and sleeves, there are also burns marks over each shoulder. Getty Image #136332643 (Dec 28, 2011 vs New Jersey) has been matched to the black mark visible along the yellow striping directly above the "54" on the right sleeve, with the extended white threading at the right bottom corner of the nameplate as well as the top right raised edge matching. The team patch numbered “7252” resides on the inside hem, and it matches the accompanying COA from the Sabres.
