Selected for the All-Rookie team in 1992-93 after a successful inaugural campaign that included winning 25 of his 48 contests while posting a 2.50 GAA, Felix Potvin would also be honoured early in his career with selection to the 1994 and 1996 NHL All-Star Games. From his second best-on-best showcase, we have a Western Conference jersey worn by Potvin at the 1996 NHL All-Star Game. Center Ice and Maska labels with a size “56” fly tag are affixed to the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the reverse hem. Featuring a tackle twill “Western” team crest, “29” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in matching material, with the 1996 All-Star Game crest over the right shoulder and Toronto Maple Leafs patch over the left. A Sports Registry label has been heat-pressed onto the interior just to the right of the fight strap, and it indicates that this was one of five jerseys worn by Potvin for either the official photo shoot, pre-game warm-up or in one of the three periods. Hailing from his personal collection, a signed LOA from Felix Potvin will accompany.
Sporting light expected wear with a few minor marks over the front, some light staining is visible within the “Western” lettering over the team crest.
