Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/30/2021
With his reflexes sharpened by the onslaught of shots he received in junior hockey with a weak Granby Bisons team, Patrick Roy's early professional days featured stellar performances with the Sherbrooke Canadiens in the spring of 1985 (with Patrick starring, Sherbrooke went "all the way") and then with Montreal 12 months later. Roy's play against the Bruins, Whalers, Rangers and Flames in the '86 NHL playoffs helped to procure Montrealers another Stanley Cup parade to enjoy! You should enjoy this example of Patrick's desirable O-Pee-Chee rookie card, graded 8.5 NMM+ by KSA. A miniscule touch to the upper right corner and a tiny ding to the bottom left are only detectable when viewing the back of the card (top left and bottom right when checking out the reverse). An attractive card in a scratch and issue-free holder is what will be delivered.
