Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/30/2021
The 75th NHL player in history to reach 1,000 career points, Daniel Alfredsson skated for 18 lengthy seasons - the overwhelming majority in Ottawa, and serves as the franchise record holder for goals, assists and points. This stick was used by the star Swede during the late-1990s. A KOHO Revolution model with “Alfredsson” stamped to the upper shaft, the stick retains the original white tape over the blade and handle, with Alfredsson’s customary white spiral pattern over the shaft. Sporting heavy game-use with considerable wear to the blade and shaft including blue paint transfer to the knob, we should note that the stick was likely used off the ice as well, as the underside of the blade is quite worn down.
