Canada’s second MLB club after the Montreal Expos, the Toronto Blue Jays joined the American League in 1977 and have played in the East Division since inception. Despite struggling early-on, the Blue Jays were crowned World Series champions in just their 16th season, and repeated, triumphant at the 1993 Fall Classic as well. We offer a great Jays program and ticket stub collection totaling 50 and ranging from the first season in 1977 until 1993, their second world title. Made up of 7 programs/publications and 43 ticket stubs (15 World Series), included for the programs, we have a first game example from 1977 (April 7, 1977 vs the White Sox, with moderate wear and minor soiling), 1991 All-Star Game programs (2), a 1985 ALCS program (vs Royals), a 1992 ALCH program (vs Athletics), a 1991 “Fanfest” program and a 1991 All-Star Season program. The World Series stubs include 1992 Game 3 (2), 1992 Game 4 (2), 1992 Game 5, 1992 Game 6 (2), 1993 Game 1 (4) and 1993 Game 6 (4). The other Jays stubs include an “Opening Game” first season specimen (April 7, 1977, full ticket), a first game at Sky Dome stub (June 5, 1989), a 1986 Opening Game stub, 17 1985 ALCS stubs including examples for all 7 games, 1989 ALCS stubs (2), 1991 ALCS stubs (2), 1993 ALCS stubs (2) and more! An additional 7 misc ticket stubs are also included, highlighted by a pair of 1984 World Series stubs. The majority of the stubs display well and sport expected condition issues from handling including edge wear and creasing.
