Recognized as one of the greatest defenceman of the modern era, Nicklas Lidstrom represented only the Detroit Red Wings throughout his NHL career, and earned numerous accolades, including seven James Norris Trophies. This signed stick was used by the superstar in 2010-11, and it is attributed to the March 16th match vs Washington. A Warrior Widow model with “Lidstrom #5” factory graphics, the original white tape remains over the handle with handwritten “5”, with the blade tape removed. There is a notation on the knob that appears to read, "3-15-11 ?? Wash ??" (the date is one day off), with a serial number and bar code with handwritten “N” on the underside of the shaft. Sporting light to moderate game-use with wear to the shaft and dark marks, there is also red paint transfer to both the handle and knob. Lidstrom has added a thick silver paint pen signature to the front side blade that displays well.
