Scoring over 900 of his 2,857 career points in the jersey of the Los Angeles Kings including four-consecutive 120+ point seasons upon his arrival, Wayne Gretzky used this signed stick during his time in California playing with royalty during the early-1990s, in either late 1990-91, or early 1991-92. An Easton Aluminum model, “Gretzky” factory graphics appear over the upper shaft, with this repeated on the stem of the inserted wooden Easton "Hand Made", "Pro Pattern" blade. The original Gripper is intact on the handle, with the blade tape removed to facilitate the large black marker Gretzky signature placed over the entire front side. Just light game-use is visible to the inserted blade and shaft, with a few small areas of white residue over the upper shaft. The stick was obtained from Gretzky by a former NHL trainer.
