Matched by only the legendary Gordie Howe in terms of longevity, Jaromir Jagr has enjoyed over 30 seasons of the highest-level hockey including numerous seasons in the NHL, and remains second to only Wayne Gretzky for all-time points. From his time with the Florida Panthers in 2015-16, we have signed and photo-matched skates worn by the five-time Art Ross winner. Bauer Supreme Total One models with Tuuk Custom+ blade holders (with hand drawn arrows), the skates show good game-use, with the blade holder on the left skate changed at some point, with the current holder not showing any game-use. There are cuts to the toe sections and rubbing to the leather in a number of spots, with some minor salting to the inside sections of the top grommets on each skate. Jagr has signed each outside boot in silver, with the signatures displaying well.
As mentioned, the blade holder on the left skate was changed at some point. Getty Image #613289840 (Nov 23, 2015) has been matched to the wear patterns on the outside of the left skate, specifically to the exact shape and placement of the circular mark directly to the left of "Bauer" (a different blade holder is pictured). The marks near the center opening of the blade holder on the right skate also appear to match, but the image resolution is not high enough to call a definitive photo-match. Next, Getty Image #498512680 (Nov 23, 2015) has been matched to numerous marks to the inside blade holder on the right skate. Additionally, Getty Image #498222728 (Nov 21, 2015) has been matched to distinct marks to both the outside boot and blade holder on the right skate. The image is also matched to the wear pattern on the inside left skate, including particularities to the silver accent line. Finally, Getty Image #497428354 (Nov 16, 2015) has been matched to distinct marks to both the outside boot and blade holder on the right skate. The image is also matched to the wear pattern on the inside left boot, including the matching wear pattern near the toe section.
