The first Swiss player to be selected number one overall at the NHL Entry Draft, Nico Hischier represented his nation internationally as a youth before making his NHL debut for the New Jersey Devils in 2017-18. Hischier now serves as the Devils team captain. From his rookie campaign, where he netted 52 points in 82 games, we have signed and photo-matched skates worn by the young star in 2017-18. CCM FT1 Jetspeed models with SB +4.0 blade holders, “13” is embroidered over each tongue. Heavy game-use is exhibited, with considerable wear to both the boots and blade holders, with heavy wear to the material throughout over the boots and numerous marks, cuts and gouges to the blade holders. Hischier has added a gold paint pen signature to each skate, with the signature somewhat camouflaged against the grey background. Getty Image #851123070 (Sept 21, 2007) has been matched to the wear pattern on the outside reverse of the right skate, and to the cut/material missing near the front outside section of the skate, as well as to the diagonal black mark above the 4.0 on the blade holder. The image is also matched to the small black mark in the "M" of "CCM" on the inside of the left skate, with the scratch above the CCM logo visible, as are black marks on the front of the blade holder on the same side.
