Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2021

Is there any doubt that Robert Marvin Hull was/is the greatest left winger in hockey history? Definitely not in our minds and those of the vast majority of hockey observers/experts/historians. And we love how a Topps writer of the day described teenage Bobby on the back of his coveted 1958-59 rookie card, the text reading "Only 18 when he joined Hawks last year, Bobby is blond husky of brilliant promise." Brilliant was Hull, particularly in the 1960s when he tied and then broke the single-season record for goals, before bettering his own record with an NHL career high of 58 in '68-69. This example of card #66 scored "4 VGE" at KSA, with notorious centering issues and rounded corners visible. Through the holder we can detect warping to the card, along with a couple of light back creases. The rookie card of one of hockey's most feared shots will be a shot to your RC/Hull/vintage card collection. A few light scuffs to the holder are to note.
