Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/30/2021
The desirable rookie card of goaltending great Ken Dryden included here is a multi-creased low grade (P) example, with however no writing, holes, paper loss or tears and is joined by five autographed RCs, with that of Guy Lafleur in similar shape, while a Marcel Dionne rookie is a better-displaying card with creasing above and below his image. An EX+ Rick Martin (d.2011) signed rookie and auto’d RCs of Butch Goring (VG+) and Reg Leach (VG) also contribute, with Bobby Hull’s classic sig gracing the front of his regular (#50) card (G). We’ll get to the other signers after giving you the lowdown on the star and other cards. They’re a low grade group, with creasing and moderate to heavy wear observed on the vast majority of the biggies. A binder, home to the commoners and semi/minor stars, will provide a relatively inexpensive trip back in time, with a small percentage of crease-free cards to come upon. Other autographed entries were signed by (as they come up numerically), St. Marseille, Nevin, Dorey, Ellis, Barrett, Lapointe, Rick Smith, Chico Maki and McDuffe (RC).
