Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2021

Tall Boys in any condition always garner interest, with this pieced-together group constituting a decent low grade effort. Fair and Good cards combine to dominate with however 16 VG to VG-EX cards contributing, while an EX+ 44-Red Kelly is the condition leader. The two Bobby Hull cards are rather attractive crease-free entries with the 107-All-Star card VG, while the #20 SP is lowered by paper loss at two corners (front) and a speck of the same on the (miscut) back. Both checklists are marked but free of unsightly creases, with five 2nd Series SPs at F (72-Dornhoefer, 73-Maki, 92-Paille, 98-Hicke, 106-Mikita All-Star) and 59-Pilote (P) lesser. Also Poor are 15 others, due to either paper loss on the reverse (68-Plante), writing (69-Armstrong), tape stains (70-Schmidt) or heavy creases (6-Sawchuk), with 47-Crozier RC affected by multiple major flaws. Still, placed in binder pages the cards will be fun to flip though, with break-up another possibility. Not present are #s 58-Williams SP, 66-Angotti RC, 71-Shack, 74-Villemure SP, 80-Rousseau SP, 85-Mahovlich, 89-Howe, 91-Nesterenko SP, 93-Abel, 94-Keon, 100-Bucyk, 102-Horton, 105-Horton SP, 109-Pilote AS & 110-Hall AS.
