One of Team Canada’s greatest scorers at the World Junior Tournament, Jordan Eberle spent his first seven NHL seasons with the Edmonton Oilers, and saw action while representing the club at the 2012 All-Star Game. From his rookie campaign in 2010-11 where he netted a very respectable 43 points in 69 regular-season games, we have a photo-matched Oilers jersey worn by the Regina native, specifically from Dec 10, 2010 until and including Feb 13, 2011. An Elite label and “56” size tag are affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with the classic oil drop team crest with embroidered detailing, “14” appears over the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with “Eberle” across the affixed nameplate in single white twill. The “Set 2” team patch resides on the inside hem near a MeiGray crest numbered “H01209”, and according to their population report, the jersey is a "Blue Retro Set 2" specimen worn for 10 games (12/10/10 - 2/13/11). A team LOA will accompany.
Sporting light game-use with a few scrapes and pulls to the material over the right sleeve, the jersey remains in gorgeous condition. Getty Images #109507552 and 109058624 (Feb 13, 2011 vs Anaheim) have been matched to the extended white thread visible at the top of the team crest as well as to a number of threading anomalies to the "4" of "14" on the right sleeve, including the white thread visible at the base, while Getty Image #108969619 (Feb 9, 2011 vs Chicago) has been matched to a number of threading anomalies to the "4" of "14" on the right sleeve, including the white thread visible at the base, with the small dark mark within the white band just above the number also visible.
