Featuring one of the WHL’s oldest franchises along with its newest, this lot offers a pair of modern Western Hockey League jerseys with a Swift Current Broncos specimen worn by Alec Zawatsky in 2018-19, and an Edmonton Oil Kings captain’s jersey worn by Trey Fix-Wolansky in 2018-19. First, the Broncos jersey sports CCM/CHL labeling along with a “54” size tag, with WHL and CHL crests over the right breast and reverse hem. Featuring a tackle twill team crest with “Broncos” appliqued, “39” appears over the sleeves and verso in matching material, with additional crests over each shoulder. The team patch resides on the inside hem, with the jersey exhibiting heavier game-use including mark and burns over the sleeves along with a few team repairs, with a large zig-zag shaped example on the reverse. The Oil Kings captain’s jersey has CCM/CHL and Elite labeling along with a “56” size tag, with WHL and CHL crests over the right breast and reverse hem. Featuring a tackle twill team crest with embroidered detailing, “27” appears over the sleeves and verso in matching material, with alternate crests sewn to each shoulder. Fix-Wolansky has added a black marker signature to the reverse. Exhibiting moderate game-use, there are a few marks over the front and board burns on each sleeve. The team patch resides on the inside hem. A team COA will accompany the Broncos jersey, with an LOA also included for the Oil Kings jersey.
