Capturing a trio of Ed Chynoweth Cups throughout their WHL tenure, the Kamloops Blazers originated as the Estevan Bruins in 1966, and currently play home contests at the Sandman Centre. From the club’s most successful era as three-time Memorial Cup champions in just four seasons during the early-to-mid-1990s, we have a pair of Blazers jerseys from the championship season of 1993-94 including specimens worn by Mike Mathers and Steve Passmore. Featuring Maska labels and size “54” fly tags affixed to each collar, CCM and CHL crests reside on each reverse hem. Styled with tackle twill team crests with “Kamloops” embroidered and “Blazers” appliqued, the V-neck sweaters have been accented with tri-colour sleeve and verso numbers, with intact dual-clasp fight straps. Each also sports the Blazers’ 10th anniversary crest over the right breast, with the nameplates removed. The Mathers sports heavy game-use with numerous puck and stick marks throughout along with burns, scrapes and multiple team repairs, while the Passmore shows a bit lighter game-use which includes heavy pilling at each cuff, along with evidence of the removal of a previous season patch over the right breast. Team LOAs will accompany for each jersey.
