Selected to the West First All-Star Team and Memorial Cup All-Star Team in both 1993-94 and 1994-95 during his final two seasons with Kamloops, Darcy Tucker was drafted by Montreal in 1993 and made his NHL debut for the Habs in 1995-96. This photo-matched Blazers jersey was worn by the Albertan during his concluding, WHL Memorial Cup championship season with Kamloops in 1994-95. A cut Maska label and rolled size “54” fly tag are affixed to the collar, with CCM and CHL crests residing on the reverse hem. Styled with a tackle twill team crest with “Kamloops” embroidered and “Blazers” appliqued, the V-neck sweater has been accented with tri-colour sleeve and verso numbers, with an intact dual-clasp fight strap. There is also evidence of a former nameplate and captain’s “C” that were removed. Heavy game-use is visible with numerous puck and stick marks covering the front and sleeves, with board burns over each sleeve. There are also team repairs, with examples present on the front (2) and sleeves (13). Two included numeric images have been used for the photo-matches, with one showing matching marks on and near the team crest, while the second image from the conclusion of the 1995 Memorial Cup shows matching marks on the interior of the right sleeve. Tucker is one of only three players - along with Tyson Nash and Ryan Huska - that were part of all three Kamloops Blazers Memorial Cup wins in 1992, 1994 and 1995. An LOA from the Blazers will accompany.
