Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/30/2021
The all-time leading scorer throughout the history of the fabled PCHA and named as the league’s greatest center by Lester Patrick, Mickey MacKay would win Stanley Cup championships with the Vancouver Millionaires and Boston Bruins and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1952. We have an especially rare real photo postcard of the Chesley Hockey from 1912 featuring Mickey MacKay. At just under the standard 3 ½” x 5 ½”, the full squad including Mickey as rover are pictured, with Graham Photo listed on the bottom right. The reverse has been filled out and the postcard mailed, with the postmark appearing to read “MR 30 12”. There is light to moderate surface and corner wear, with strong indentations from the postmarks (2).
