Montreal Canadiens signatures are always sought, with countless hobbyists seeking to build comprehensive collections of those who all proudly donned la Sainte Flanelle. This lot offers a group of 33 signed and framed displays that include mostly photos, with six HOFers featured. First, the small frames are in the 8” x 10” to 11 ½” x 13 ½” range and total 15, with photos signed by HOFers Bob Gainey and Jacques Laperriere as well as Junior Langlois, Doug Risebrough, Pierre Bouchard, Pierre Mondou, Max Pacioretty, Stephane Richer, Don Marshall, John McCormack, JC Tremblay (magazine page with PSA/DNA COA within the frame), Andre Pronovost and Ab McDonald, along with pictorial index cards mounted with photos for Terry Harper and Ted Harris. Next, the medium sized frames range from 11” x 14 ½” to 15” x 19” and total 14, with photos signed by HOFers Steve Shutt (1974 Dimanche/Derniere Heure), Guy Carbonneau (magazine page), Yvon Lambert (magazine page), Dollard St Laurent (vintage program page), Marcel Bonin, Lou Fonitinato, Bobby Rousseau, Gilles Tremblay, Stephane Richer (magazine page), Pierre Larouche (program page) and Mario Tremblay (newsprint picture), along with an index card signed and framed with a photo for HOFer Ken Reardon, and a Beckett “Authentic” encapsulated cut framed with a photo for Claude Provost. Lastly, the large sized frames range from 17” x 21 ½” to 17 ½” x 25” and total 4, with colour newsprint pictures signed by Pierre Bouchard, Murray Wilson, Pete Mahovlich and Yvon Lambert (two newsprint images are matted, with Lambert signing the matte). A few small postcard-sized Beehive reproductions are also included, signed by Reardon (HHOF postcard), the Pocket Rocket, JC Tremblay (signed on reverse), G Tremblay, Goyette, McDonald, Backstrom, Marshall (vintage postcard) and St Laurent (vintage postcard). The majority of the signature display well with no issues, with light to heavier wear to the frames.
