Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/26/2021
Bringing together the world's all-time greatest inventions in beer and hockey, this lot contains a trio of Winnipeg Jets "Ted's Unsung Hero" beer stein awards from the 1980s, with each originally presented to HOF superstar Dale Hawerchuk. Somewhat matching in style at approx 6 1/2" in height, we have a pair of Carling O'Keefe steins along with an example from Old Vienna (OV), with metal plaques affixed to each with both company logos and engraved text. The OV stein was presented for March 1, 1987 vs Calgary, while the Carling mugs are from the 1984-85 NHL season, one vs Los Angeles, the other, vs New Jersey. "Canada" is embossed within each underside, with the Carling steins featuring pewter lids. All three mugs show light wear and no damage. Hailing from the personal collection of Dale Hawerchuk, an LOA from his family will accompany.
