Sidelined for most of the 1994-95 NHL season first by the league lock-out, and secondly by injury, Dale Hawerchuk managed to dress in just 23 regular-season contests for Buffalo during his final season with the club. From approx his final season in Buffalo, we have uniform pants and gloves worn by Hawerchuk with the Sabres. First, the gloves are Louisville TPS models in Sabres colours with "Hawerchuk" embroidered to each wrist guard. Heavier game-use is exhibited, with wear and rubbing to the leather in spots along with additional heavier wear to the palms with both showing considerable pilling. There are also a few holes to the palm and thumb on the right glove. The pants are also Louisville TPS models in Sabres colours with gold striping bands and a Sabres logo affixed to the left pant leg. Heavier game-use is exhibited with wear to the material throughout including a few long burn/transfer marks to the upper reverse legs, with complete soiling/rusting to the upper hidden clasps and lacing grommets. Hailing from his personal collection, an LOA from the Hawerchuk family will accompany.
