His third appearance for his nation on the world stage, Dale Hawerchuk competed in his second IIHF World Championships in 1986, and contributed six points in eight games for Team Canada. This signed Team Canada jersey was worn by Ducky at the 1986 World Championship in Moscow, and it is accompanied by his Adidas uniform socks. The collar retains its Adidas tagging with “XXL” sizing, with an additional screened-on Adidas symbol over the right breast. Sporting a partially-felt Canadian team crest, sleeve and verso numbers in matching material and twin Agfa advertising patches on both shoulders, the patriotic garment has been signed by Hawerchuk within the reverse “0” in black marker. Light wear is exhibited with a few random marks which includes some red paint transfer on the right sleeve. The uniform socks are red with white stripes and rubberized Adidas logos, with wear and marks to each. Hailing from his personal collection, an LOA from the Hawerchuk family will accompany.
