Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 5/31/2022
Joining once again, in collaboration with the Montreal Canadiens, Classic Auctions is pleased to offer a large collection of artifacts and memorabilia from the storied club’s comprehensive archives. A number of historic specimens direct from the famous team including unique displays that were once marvelously displayed in the hallowed Montreal Forum and later at the Bell Centre are available, with an endless array of legendary and monumental players featured that all proudly once donned the sacred jersey of the mighty Montreal Canadiens.
The 2019-20 NHL season was the Montreal Canadiens’ 111th season of play and 103rd in the NHL, with Shea Weber serving as captain and Thomas Tatar leading the team in scoring. The Habs would finish fifth in the Atlantic Division, and lose to Philadelphia in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs. Originating from the archives of the Montreal Canadiens, we have a 2019-20 framed team photo. At approx 14” x 16”, the full team is pictured along with management, with the players all listed over the base. Matted in a black frame to full dimensions of approx 21 ½” x 23 ½”, a Classic Auctions LOA will accompany.
