Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2021
Featuring the green and red colour scheme utilized during the club’s early years, this lot includes a pair of New Jersey Devils uniform pants and gloves from the circa late-1980s, along with Toronto Maple Leafs uniform pants and gloves from the 1990s. Both CCM Supra models, each pair of pants is in team colours with affixed CCM crests, with each also sporting an embroidered team logo. "23 Beaumont" is handwritten on the front flap of the Devils pants, with "23 Beau" written over the label on the Leafs pants. As no player named “Beaumont” ever dressed for either club, these items were possible used in training camp or during preseason play. The gloves are also in team colours, with “23” handwritten to each, with the Devils gloves having an embroidered team logo.
Both sets of pants show nice game-use with marks and wear present, with a few cuts to the material on the Devils pants and a slit visible on the Leafs pants. The gloves have “23” handwritten as mentioned, with this on the palms of the Leafs gloves and on the wrist guards of the Devils gloves. Both pairs also show moderate wear, with heavy rubbing to the leather in spots on the Devils gloves and a small hole on the palm of the right Leaf glove.
