Classic red and white game-worn 1993-94 Canadian national team jersey was worn by forward Jean-Yves Roy in competition prior to the 1994 Olympics. After playing 36 games for Canada’s national team over the previous two seasons, Roy had three goals and two assists in six games for Canada in 1993-94 leading up to the Winter Olympics in Lillehammer, Norway. Maska Air-Knit and size 52 flag tags hang inside the collar. There is evidence of a former nameplate, with the current one hastily sewn on. Hockey Canada patches are sewn on the shoulders, CCM logo is embroidered on the right rear tail, and numbers and nameplate letters are sewn-on white twill. Game wear includes black marks on and adjacent to the Canada crest on the front and black marks and board burns on the sleeves. Cool international hockey gamer worn by a player who went on to help Canada win a silver medal at the Olympics. Comes with Hockey Canada COA signed by CHA president Bob Nicholson.
