A delectable opportunity to score a luscious Topps unopened wax pack hat trick is on the block here, with more goodies from the early-1970s to consider. Gilbert Perreault's RC is the key to Topps' 1970-71 issue, with a Sticker Stamp included in wax packs and the example here graded NM-MT 8, with same mark awarded to a '71-72 pack. A comic book-like booklet was Topps' insert that season, with Ken Dryden's rookie, multiple cards featuring Bobby Orr and one of Gordie Howe most notable. After 132-card efforts, Topps upped things to 176 in '72-73 and included a Tony Esposito depiction on wrappers, with pack contents upped to ten cards (from the previous eight) but not including an insert. Regular and All-Star cards of Orr and Dryden headline the lineup with a Vancouver player's card visible on the bottom of the '72-73 entry, graded NM 7. The card of a Boston Bruin (not Orr) can be detected while examining the back of the '70-71 pack.
Very light subtle scratches to the GAI holders are mentioned for accuracy only and are not detracting.
