A gold medal winner with Canada at the 2014 Winter Olympics, Matt Duchene was drafted 3rd overall by Colorado and spent parts of his first nine NHL seasons with the club, while 2001 Stanley Cup champion Dan Hinote spent parts of six seasons in Denver. We offer a signed Aves jersey issued to Duchene for the 2016-17 NHL season, along with a signed helmet worn by Hinote with the club during the early-2000s (model worn in 2000-01 and 2001-02). First, the jersey sports a label with “56” sizing (with handwritten “III”), with NHL and Reebok crests over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with a tackle twill team crest and numbers, Duchene has signed the reverse number in black marker, with the signature displaying well. The solid white CCM helmet features Aves decals on each side and “13” on the lower reverse, with a 9/11 ribbon on the left reverse, and NHL shield decal on the right. Hinote has signed the top in black marker. Light to moderate game-use is exhibited, with scratches to the surface and heavy rubbing to the Styrofoam neck guard. There is also heavy rusting to the chin strap clasp.
