Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2021
Joining once again, in collaboration with the Montreal Canadiens, Classic Auctions is pleased to offer a large collection of artifacts and memorabilia from the storied club’s comprehensive archives. A number of historic specimens direct from the famous team including unique displays that were once marvelously displayed in the hallowed Montreal Forum and later at the Bell Centre are available, with an endless array of legendary and monumental players featured that all proudly once donned the sacred jersey of the mighty Montreal Canadiens.
Led by Max Pacioretty’s 67 points, the Montreal Canadiens finished first in the Atlantic Division at the conclusion of the 2014-15 NHL season, and after defeated Ottawa in six games in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs, the Habs would be taken out by Tampa Bay. Displayed in the Canadiens dressing room at the Bell Centre and a tradition that was continued from the Montreal Forum, we have a 2014-15 Montreal Canadiens team plaque. At 13” x 15”, the dark-finished wooden plaque sports a full colour Canadiens emblem centered along the top, flanked by “2014” and “2015”, with players and management listed beneath in gold in two rows. Sporting just light surface wear, the plaque remains in gorgeous condition, ready for display. An LOA from Classic Auctions will be included.
