Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/30/2021
First donning the mighty maple leaf at the 2003 U-18 Junior World Cup in the Czech Republic and Slovakia shortly after his 16th birthday, Sidney Crosby has won gold with his nation at each and every level. Named the Most Valuable Player at the 2016 World Cup of Hockey, Sidney joined just Wayne Gretzky and Bobby Orr as the only players to earn the Conn Smythe, Hart Memorial and Canada/World Cup MVP. This Team Canada jersey has been signed by the three-time Stanley Cup champion. IIHF labeling with Nike “56” sizing is affixed to the collar, with a tackle twill hockey Canada team crest and numbers, with an IIHF centennial patch over the reverse hem. Crosby has signed the top of the reverse “7” in black marker, with the signature presenting beautifully. An LOA will accompany.
