Advancing to the Stanley Cup playoffs with the Montreal Canadiens in each of his first four NHL seasons, Carey Price began using this specific model of stick in Game 7 of 2009-10 Eastern Conference Quarterfinals - as well as early-on during the 2010-11 season, and it is being offered with a signed Montreal Canadiens pro jersey. A Warrior model with “Price” stamped to the upper shaft, the original white tape resides on the blade and red cloth with reinforcing white strands over the handle and upper shaft/knob. “6” is handwritten to the upper shaft, and while images from the 2009-10 playoffs show a “5” on Price’s stick, we could not locate images from the 2010-11 season with such a number written. The jersey was produced by CCM with “58” sizing along with a tackle twill team crest and numbers, with Price signing the reverse “3” in blue marker, with some bleeding occurring to the signature.
The stick shows nice game-use with marks to the blade and paddle, with a chip along the top edge of the upper paddle. There are also traces of red paint transfer to the upper shaft, with a surface indentation near the “Price” stamping. Carey has signed the heel in thin blue marker, with the signature displaying well.
