Beating out rival Sidney Crosby for the coveted Calder Memorial Trophy as the NHL’s top rookie in 2005-06, Alexander Ovechkin would score 106 points during his inaugural campaign, followed up with 92 points his sophomore season, when the offered Washington Capitals signed practice jersey was worn. Sporting CCM labeling with “58” sizing affixed to the collar, NHL and Reebok crests grace the front and reverse necklines respectively, with “58” also embroidered over the front hem. Styled with a tackle twill team crest, there are no sleeve or verso numbers, with Ovechkin signing just above the team crest in silver, with the signature blending into the background material. Exhibiting light wear, a PSA/DNA sticker numbered “X52320” has been affixed to the collar while a MeiGray patch numbered “D10312” is sewn to the inside hem, and according to the MeiGray population report, the jersey is a “Black Practice Jersey”. A PSA/DNA COA will accompany along with an LOA from the Washington Capitals.
