This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2021
A diverse collection of hockey autographs are offered, with a 1965 dinner program signed by six including deceased HOF legend Gordie Howe, a 1972 Canada-Russia series Game 4 (Vancouver, Sept 8, 1972) menu signed by eight including Pete Mahovlich and Rick Martin, a 1983 HHOF card set (238) with signed cards of Habs legends Maurice Richard, Jean Beliveau, Henri Richard, Bernard Geoffrion, a 1939 cheque signed by Chicago Black Hawks executive James D Norris, and a Charlestown Chiefs puck signed by the Hanson brothers. First, the 1965 menu was for a Sportsman’s Dinner held on June 14, 1965, with all six signing the reverse in ballpoint ink including Howe, along with Phil Esposito, Gump Worsley, Jim Trimble, Danny Gallivan, Roger Crozier and Kent Douglas. The signatures are bunched up and present well, with light wear to the 5 ½” x 8 ½” program. The Summit Series menu is 7 ½” x 10”, with Richard Martin, Brian Glennie, Jocelyn Guevremont, Pete Mahovlich and Dave Tallon signing the cover, with a few additional signatures on the reverse. There is some staining and discolouration to the program. The Norris cheque shows just light wear as do the HHOF cards, with the Chiefs puck signed in matching blue marker by David Hanson, Steve Carlson and Jeff Carlson.
