Hall of Fame defenseman Al MacInnis’ photo-matched 1984-85 Calgary Flames game-worn jersey is from the 1989 Conn Smythe winner’s first All-Star Game season, right in the midst of the fabled Battle of Alberta rivalry against the great Edmonton Oilers dynasty. This classic white mesh beauty from the Flames’ second set of 1984-85 jerseys has the CCM* patch on the hem and the canvas loop fight strap. It is photo-matched to an included digital image that shows the crooked #2 on the left sleeve and its identical placement, as well as the small black spot below the #2 in the same area as on the jersey. Game wear a diagonal red mark to the left of the No. 2 on the back, pilling inside the sleeves, and various black marks, board burns and unrepaired burn holes. Comes with an LOA.
There are black marks, board burns and unrepaired burn holes on the sleeves, black marks on the left side of the back and the middle of the rear tail, and black marks on the front tail and left front of the jersey. CCM tagging in the neck has detached at the top and hangs loose. No size indicated but we measure it out to about a size 54.
It should be noted that the 1984-85 Flames jerseys are known for the nameplate color not quite matching up with the jersey, with the white of the nameplate somewhat brighter compared to the white of the jersey - such is the case with this example.
