Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021

Some sharp cardboard to tell you about here, with a Mario Lemieux rookie card a good and obvious place to start. Card #9 recently was inspected by PSA and merited an inviting mark of NM-MT 8, with not-perfect centering observed. The gathering has been stored old-style for years in older Enor 9-pocket pages, the cards being placed back-to-back and not in numerical order but by team. Most of the pulled star/key cards mirror the Lemieux rookie, with the Al MacInnis RC one of the few notables which are “only” NM. The remaining cards in the binder appear to include a majority of NM-MTs, with some technically a tad lower or higher, but with toning affecting the upper borders of many of the cards along the top pockets. This holds true for second-year cards of Yzerman, Chelios and Lafontaine. Rather subtle but noteworthy. Standard intermittent less-than-bang-on O-Pee-Chee centering is also present. Again though, dozens and dozens of sharp, crisp cards await the new owner, led by Super Mario. It appears as though 10 cards are required for completion.
