Defending the blueline of the Montreal Canadiens for a dozen seasons which included contributing to the late-1950s dynasty as a member of multiple Stanley Cup championships, Jean-Guy Talbot enjoyed his final Habs season in 1966-67, the season the offered puck was used by the star to score the game-winning goal on Oct 23 - according to our consignor. Adding crucial desirability, the puck originates from Bobby Orr’s third-ever NHL game, a historic contest that witnessed the superstar score his first NHL goal! A Bruins Art Ross model puck manufactured between 1958 and 1962, text has been handwritten over the Bruins logo of "Oct 23 1966 Montreal" with "Oct 23" again added along the top. The puck itself shows light wear, with both rubberized logos intact but somewhat darkened.
