Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/26/2021
Obtaining the necessary U.S. citizenship needed for tournament eligibility, Bryan Trottier represented our southern neighbours at the 1984 Canada Cup, having previously dressed for Team Canada at the 1981 tournament. Hailing from his personal collection, we have Trottier’s Canada Cup jacket, framed team photo, money clip, watch and pennant. First, the jacket was produced by O’Shea, with “L” sizing, with a worn USA crest on the right breast and CCM logo over the left, with a large USA tackle twill team crest on the reverse. Just light overall wear is present. Next, the money clip sports no hallmarks with “Canada Cup ‘84”, “USA vs Czechoslovakia”, “September 6, 1984” and “Buffalo, NY” all engraved, while the Citizen watch in it’s original box has “Team USA” on the dial and appears to have never been used. The team photo is approx 10” x 13”, with the players listed beneath, double-matted and framed to 17” x 20” (light wear). A signed LOA from Bryan Trottier will accompany.
