An extremely valuable cog within the well-oiled machine that was the Stanley Cup dynasty New York Islanders, Bryan Trottier would contribute 107 playoff points throughout the Long Islanders dominant four-year run, including scoring 29 points in each of the first three postseasons. Hailing from his personal collection, we have a trio of Stanley Cup keepsakes, accompanied by a collection of 11 mugs. The presented Stanley Cup items are all small lucite displays, with one undated and circular, with the name and players all listed around in vertical rows (5” in height with a diameter of 3 ¾”), one is in the size and shape of a puck, also undated, with a Stanley Cup inserted along with the player’s names, while the final lucite display is triangular-shaped, with an image of the Stanley Cup on each side along with the dates of “1979-80”, “1980-81” and “1981-82” (4” x 3 ½” x 5”). A signed LOA from Bryan Trottier will accompany.
The mugs include 9 matching at 6” in height, with each sporting “1981 Stanley Cup Champions” and “Bryan Trottier”, with the full ’81 playoff results listed on each reverse (light wear to the group, with two having the handles broken), along with two small coffee mugs with Isles logos. The lucite displays all remain in very good condition which includes wear and scratches to the surfaces, with no breaks or damage (there is a tiny bit of chipping along an edge of the puck-shaped keepsake).
