Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2021

A midseason trip to the 1981 All-Star Game in Los Angeles was a given for Peter Stastny in the midst of his sensational Calder Trophy rookie season. The only Quebec Nordiques player on the Wales Conference squad, the future HOFer was no token representative as he went on to become the first to record 100 points as an official NHL rookie with 109 in 1980-81 while also establishing a rookie record for assists with 70, a mark tied in 1992-93 by Boston’s Joe Juneau that still stands. Stastny’s 1981 Wales All-Stars game-worn white mesh jersey has Cosby, size 54 and laundry instruction tagging in the back of the neck. Game wear shows in a black mark on the back of the lower right sleeve, a faint mark below the embroidered NHL crest on the front, and a few light marks on the rear tail.
This single-game jersey also displays some reddish-brown stains that do not diminish its display.
