Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2021

Dying tragically just months after backstopping Philadelphia to the Stanley Cup finals at the age of 26, Pelle Lindbergh made his NHL debut in 1981-82 and spent parts of five seasons with the Flyers. The talented Swede would capture the Vezina Trophy in 1985 and receive NHL All-Star selection twice, with his nation represented at every level. Leaving us so early, the hobby is heavily undersupplied with Lindbergh signatures, and we offer an especially pleasing specimen. A team-issued blank-backed postcard at 4” x 6”, Lindbergh is pictured in his Flyers uniform with his name along the base. Pelle added a large and flowing black marker signature that remains especially bold, with just very light wear to the postcard itself including touches to a few corners. The signature has been authenticated by JSA, with a document to accompany.
