Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2021
Featuring a pair of netminders that guarded the Chicago Black Hawks crease during the 2000s, with the first Frenchman to win the Stanley Cup as a player and the two-time Stanley Cup champion affectionately known as “Crow”, we have a signed stick used by Cristobal Huet in the Stanley Cup championship season of 2009-10, accompanied by a signed stick issued to Corey Crawford during the early-2010s, circa 2010-12. First, the Huet is a Reebok 6K model with “Huet” over the shaft and the original white tape over the blade and upper shaft. Heavy game-use is exhibited, with considerable marks to the blade and paddle, with red paint transfer over the upper shaft. The Crawford is a Reebok model with “C. Crawford” factory graphics, with white tape added to the upper shaft and no tape over the blade. Crawford has signed over the front side blade in black marker, with no issues for the signature. The stick itself does show marks over the handle tape and additional marks to the paddle and blade, but with no definitive game-use visible, the stick is being sold as just a game-issued example. Hailing from the personal collection of a Montreal Canadiens/Chicago Black Hawks executive, a Classic Auctions LOA will accompany.
