Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2021
A Chicago Black Hawks draft selection in 2003, Dustin Byfuglien hoisted a Stanley Cup with the club in 2010, with appearances at the NHL All-Star Game in 2011, 2015 and 2016 (injury prevented attendance in 2012). This signed stick was used by the defenceman during his final season with the Black Hawks in 2009-10. A CCM U+ Pro model with “Byfuglien” factory graphics, the original white tape is in place over the inserted CCM blade (with “Buff” on the stem) and blue cloth with white reinforcing strands over the handle. There is also a strand of black tape spiraling down the shaft, with this common on Byfuglien sticks. The Minnesotan has signed the heel section in silver, with the signature displaying well. Showing good game-use to the shaft and blade, the stick hails from the personal collection of a Montreal Canadiens/Chicago Black Hawks executive, with a Classic Auctions LOA to accompany.
